Description
U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen Jacket and Belt. Navy blue wool, double-breasted with two rows of nine brass buttons marked "Jacob Reed Philadelphia" on the back. Quilted satin lining; Jacob Reed's Sons, Philadelphia tailor's tag in the inside left pocket. The tag identifies the uniform to "N. G. Lawrence, Jr.". Midshipman's gold-wire anchors on the standup collar; gold-wire Company Petty Officer insignia on each sleeve. Accompanied by a gilded-brass buckle and leather belt. Very good condition.Auction Info
