Lot of Eleven 20th Century Law Enforcement Badges.Including: 1) Massive Dillion Valley, Colorado Chief of Public Safety badge, 2 1/2 x 3 1/2-inches, gilt-plated brass shield with applied plated captions and enamel seal of Colorado, pinback, marked "HI-GLO" on the reverse. 2) New Haven [Connecticut] Police badge, 2 1/2 x 3-inches, die struck, lacking the mounting pin. No maker mark. 3) Trenton City [New Jersey] Police badge, 2 1/4 x 3-inches, pinback, no maker mark. 4) Reno, Nevada Police badge, 2 1/4 x 3-inches, die struck, pinback. No maker mark. 5) Canon City, Colorado Police Sergeant badge, 2 1/2 x 3 1/4-inches, die struck, pinback. Patent mark on the reverse. No maker mark. 6) Generic City Marshal badge, 2 x 2 1/2-inches, pinback. No maker mark. 7) American Protective League Auxiliary to U.S. Department of Justice Operative badge, circa 1917-19, 1 1/2 x 2 1/2-inches, pinback. No maker mark. The American Protective League was organized to identify suspected German sympathizers and to counteract the activities of radicals, anarchists, anti-war activists, and left-wing labor and political organizations. 8) Chicago Police badge, 2 1/4 x 2 1/2-inches, pinback. Maker marked "The C. H. Hanson Co., Chicago". 9) Brookline [Massachusetts] Police badge, 2 x 2 1/2-inches, die struck, pinback. No maker mark. 10) Pueblo County, Colorado Deputy Sheriff badge, 2 1/4 x 2 1/2-inches, pinback, Entenmann, Los Angeles maker mark. 11) New Jersey State Police badge, 1 3/4 x 2-inches, pinback. No maker mark.
