Johnny Baker and Della Ferrell: Seven Assorted Photographic Portraits. Group of items that were part of the Johnny Baker Archive we sold in our October 2, 2017 sale. 1) Cabinet card of Della dressed in her fineries, by Camille Brion of Marseille, signed by her in the upper left corner: "To Papa from Della." 2) Cabinet card portrait of a demure Della, by Anderson of New York. 3) Cabinet card of a dapper Baker by Place of Chicago. 4) Cabinet card of Della in Western attire, by Anderson of New York, inscribed at top: "Mrs. Johnnie Baker". 5) Cabinet card of a somewhat older Della in costume, wearing her marksmanship medals, by Stacy of Brooklyn. 6) Boudoir card of Della in a fancy dress, holding an umbrella, by Meuro & Son of New York. 7) Boudoir card with vignette portrait of Della wearing a fancy hat, by Meuro & Son of New York. The back has a presentation inscription from Baker's sister, to which Baker has replied, in ink: "A kind Daughter/ a sweet sister/ and a True friend. J.B." Condition varies.
