Four George Cornish Wild West Photogravures ca 1909. George B. Cornish, a protégé and youthful partner of Prettyman's, who had a greater respect than his teacher for this monumental record. To this man goes the credit for preserving thousands of plates that belonged to William Prettyman. Here are four beautiful examples of George Cornish's photogravures. On the War Path, copyright 1909, Texas Longhorns, copyright 1909, Old Monarchs of the Plains, copyright 1907, and The Round-Up, copyright 1909. They all measure approximately 6" x 8".
