Flat-Marked Kelly Brothers Spurs with Pearl Buttons.
Big pair of single-mounted spurs with large mother-of-pearl buttons. 2 1/2-inch, 7-point engraved rowels. Matching silver overlays. Button covers also personalized with CT. Maker-marked: KELLY/BROS. This flat mark used prior to 1912. See page 144 in "Bits & Spurs In The Texas Tradition" by House and Martin. Fine floral-carved brown leathers with nickeled buckles.
Provenance: Roger and Linda Carpenter Collection.

Condition: Very good. Moderate use wear. Some staining and light surface rust. Leather fine with light soiling. Later replacements.
