Description
Elizabeth "Libby" Custer Signed Book: Custer's Last Fight. This large 9" x 12", 40 page work is bound in printed wraps with a Custer portrait on the front. The book was compiled by Charles Francis Roe, printed in 1927 and contains photographs, maps and other illustrations relative to Custer's last campaign. Most importantly, Custer's faithful wife, Libby has signed the front cover along the top margin "From Mrs. E. B. Custer". Coincidentally there is a modern printed return mailing label bearing the name "Col. Chas. A. Custer (Ret)" mounted along the top margin of the front cover adjacent to Libby's signature. The book has some trivial soiling, otherwise it is in excellent condition.Auction Info
