Description

DOUBLE BARREL HAMMER SHOTGUN - Serial number 3231, circa 1870s. 19" barrels in .12 gauge caliber. Top barrel rib marked "BELGIUM-LAMINATED STEEL". Back action locks marked "W. RICHARDS-BELGIUM". Checkered forend and pistol gripped stock. Fancy hard rubber shotgun butt plate depicting a hunter seated on a log with his dog.

Condition:Approximately twenty or so case hardening evident on frame, lock plates and hammer. Good, strong Damascus striping present on barrels. Trigger guard basically brown. Wood sound with normal wear.
