Description

Crockett Spurs with Outside Maker's Mark.
Single-mounted, large pair with 16-point 2 1/2-inch rowels. Slightly turned down shank with chap guard. Rocker engraved silver overlays on shank and heelband. Marked in the #2 location. See page 122 in "Bits & Spurs In The Texas Tradition." The Crockett mark in this location dates these spurs to 1938-43. Fine later two-piece basket weave leathers.
Provenance: Roger and Linda Carpenter Collection.

Condition: Fine. Light soiling and age wear.
