#577 J.O.Bass Marked Spurs.
Drop shanks and small 9-point rowels. Single-mounted with rocker-engraved silver diamonds each decorated with signature star-burst. Maker-marked on one heel-band: NO. 577. / MADE BY. / J.O.BASS TULIA. TEX. Swinging buttons. Mounted with beautiful tooled old leathers with plain conchas, roller buckles and stamped: THOS. LACHAMBRE / MISSOULA, MONT. Theo. LaChambre was a French Canadian harness maker in Missoula Montana circa 1880-1920.
Provenance: The Roger and Linda Carpenter Collection.

Condition: Very good. Nice age patina mixed with small patches of fine pitting and light surface rust. Leathers are very good, still supple with some crackling at stress points. Maker's marks mostly visible. Minor period repairs.
