Charles Lindbergh: Lot of Four Medals and Copper Plaque Commemorating Lindbergh's New York to Paris Flight. The copper plaque measures 7.5" x 10.25" and commemorates Lindbergh's New York to Paris flight, May 20-21, 1927. The sculptor, L. L. Leach, has captured Lindbergh in profile wearing his aviator's helmet. There are four threaded mounted holes on the reverse side. Included are four 70mm commemorative medals, each a different variation on the Spirit of St. Louis/New York to Paris flight. All examples are in excellent condition.Auction Info
