Crete, collection of about 75 Turkish Revenue stamps overprinted for use in Crete, 1875-1891, comprises Type I (4), II (6), III (10), IV (16), V (25) and VI (10); approximately 35 different numbers represented with some nice cancels. An outstanding group of these seldom seen stamps. Also includes an article on the stamps by D. James Giokaris published in the July 1994 issue of Tughra Times and a photocopy of the Forbin listings.
