3c Bright Claret (J24), pair on Jewelry advertising cover from Iowa City, Iowa to St. Croix, Switzerland, Jun 13, 1894; assessed Swiss postage due on arrival in St. Croix, Jun 30, but Swiss Dues marked "Annulé" and cover returned to U.S. due to insufficient address; N.Y. opera glass "PAID 0 ALL" and Jul 29 Dead Letter Office handstamp on reverse with faint purple "Dead Letter Office Washington DC" pointing hand marking on front.
