Expertization: 1994 PF Certificate

This used example of the Cuban "Dots in Frame" variety is one of the rarest stamps in all of U.S. Possessions philately. It is the "Discovery Copy" and the basis for the listing in the Scott Catalogue. No other used examples have surfaced in the 30 years since its discovery.

Mr. Pounder theorizes that the "evidence of deterioration in the Havana duplex cancel suggests that this variety was created in a late printing".
