Description
THE SINGLE FINEST 10¢ PAN-AMERICAN GRADED TO DATE
10c Yellow Brown & Black (299), absolutely perfectly centered with amazingly wide, beautifully balanced jumbo margins, warm rich color and immaculate, never hinged original gum; incredibly fresh and positively Superb. Scott $360.SMQ $8,100 for a normal Superb 98
Expertization: 2007 PSE Certificate graded 98J
THIS SUPERB 98J IS THE SINGLE FINEST AMONG THE AMAZING TOTAL OF NEARLY 300 10¢ PAN-AMERICANS GRADED BY PSE TO DATE.
The Pan American issue offers collectors one of the great challenges in assembling a superb set of United States Commemoratives. Other than the two low values, each and every stamp in the set is highly difficult to locate perfectly centered. The 10¢, according to the PSE's population counts and personal experience is the most difficult, with only 1 stamp reaching 98 and the 98J offered here. If like Oscar Wilde, you will only settle for the best, this is a stamp you cannot afford to miss.
