Description

#230-40, 1893, 1c-50c Columbians. Short set of eleven, missing only the dollar values, each stamp with PSE graded certificate except the 15c which has a PSE non-graded certificate. #'s 230-33 are never hinged, the 2c graded 80, 3c graded 70J, and the 1c & 4c graded 70. #'s 234-35 & 239 are original gum previously hinged, the 5c graded 95, 6c graded 70, and 30c graded 80, the 5c & 30c showing light hinging at top center and the 6c extremely lightly hinged at top right edge. The 8c (#236 graded 60) is noted to be hinged, but that appears to be a very light, almost unnoticeable disturbance along the right side, and has a small facial scuff at right center, just over Columbus' shoulder. The remaining three stamps are all regummed, the 10c (graded 70J) with a shorter perf at bottom right, the 15c reperforated at top, and the 50c with a corner perf crease at top left. Fine to Superb. All the certificates being from 2008. (Scott $2007.30)...
