#208a, 1882, 6c Deep Brown Red, SUP 98 PSE. (Original Gum - Previously Hinged). An engraved masterpiece that commands awe and reverence, boasting flawless centering within large well balanced margins, color that is both intense and radiant at the same time, masterfully engraved giving an almost three-dimensional sculpted appearance to the bust of Lincoln, and full original gum that requires very close examination to identify any evidence of previous hinging, a Superb world class condition rarity destined for the finest collection; PSE - Encapsulated.(SMQ $3,850; this being sole example attaining this grade as of 10/08, with none graded higher)...
