Description
Grumman Embroidered Patch in Framed Display with Lunar Module Photo. A handsome display honoring Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation, the prime contractor for NASA's Apollo Lunar Module. Featuring a 10" x 4" Grumman patch framed above a 17.5" x 13.5" image of the Lunar Excursion Module. Grumman, based in Bethpage, Long Island, designed and built all Lunar Modules, which made six successful crewed landings on the lunar surface between 1969 and 1972. Matted and framed under museum glass to an overall 24" x 26". Very fine.Auction Info
