Braniff International Airways "BI" Flight Bags (Four), Girard-Era Corporate Design. A vibrant and highly collectible set of four vintage Braniff International Airways flight bags, each emblazoned with the airline's bold "BI" monogram in contrasting Pop Art color combinations. Produced during Braniff's celebrated "End of the Plain Plane" era, these bags reflect the airline's groundbreaking integration of aviation, fashion, and modern graphic design. Executed in vinyl with piping and adjustable shoulder straps, the bags are presented in four distinct colorways: white with lime graphics, sky blue with magenta accents, black with yellow and bronze graphics, and Braniff's iconic Ultra Orange with white and lime monogram. The oversized stacked "BI/BI" typography is emblematic of the visual identity introduced under the creative direction of Mary Wells Lawrence and designer Alexander Girard beginning in 1965.
