Description
Paul Calle Signed Original Sketch for the "First Man on the Moon" 6¢ Stamp. A pencil sketch, 8.75" x 12.25" overall, of an unaccepted submission for a regular size 6¢ commemorative stamp. This is a vertical design and is essentially identical to the same section of Calle's horizontal version that was accepted and used for a jumbo format 10¢ airmail stamp (Scott #C76). Originally from the collection of noted space philatelist Dr. Rueben Ramkissoon. Extremely fine.Auction Info
