Skylab II (SL-3) Crew-Signed Color Photo Canceled at KSC on Launch and Splashdown Dates. A 10" x 8" NASA litho print picturing all the Skylab crews. Signed in various inks: "Alan Bean", "Owen Garriott", and "Jack Lousma". The photo bears two 8¢ Flag stamps canceled at Kennedy Space Center, one on the launch date of July 28, 1973, the other on the splashdown date of September 25, 1973. Very desirable. Excellent.Skylab II made significant contributions by pioneering long-duration human space missions. Launched in 1973, Skylab II set new records for extended spaceflights, with astronauts circling the Earth 858 times during their two-month mission. This mission was crucial in advancing our understanding of living and working in space, laying the groundwork for future missions to the moon and Mars.
