Mercury-Atlas 7 (Aurora 7): Thirteen Vintage Glossy Photos of Pre and Post-Flight, from the Personal Archives of NASA Legend Bill Taub. Thirteen B&W photos ranging in size from 9" x 7.5" to 10.375" x 8" depicting many aspects of the fourth crewed Mercury flight. Varying from pre-flight suit up to a post-flight ceremony with President Kennedy. Six photos with captions as follows.
62-MA7-96: 9.75" x 7.75" photo of Scott Carpenter as he leaves the transfer van to board his flight. Caption printed on verso.
62-MA7-98: 9.625" x 7.875" of Scott Carpenter suiting up before flight. A well known image. Caption printed on verso.
62-MA7-139 9.75" x 7.75" photo of Scott Carpenter and wife Rene during homecoming parade in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Caption printed on verso.
62-MA7-144: 9.5" x 7.75" photo of Carpenter as he greets his children following his flight. Caption printed on verso.
62-MA7-174: Two examples (9" x 7.5" and 10" x 8") of image of President Kennedy and Carpenter with family at White House ceremony. Captions printed on verso.
All other photos unnumbered. Overall very fine or better.
