Description

Bruce McCandless Signed Large STS-41-B Untethered EVA Color Photo. A 20" x 16" silk finish photo on Kodak Endura paper of McCandless floating in space above Earth's bright blue horizon during an extravehicular activity (EVA) outside the cabin of the shuttle Challenger during STS-41-B. Signed in silver felt tip: "Looking down at all humanity!/ The first untethered spacewalk./ Bruce McCandless II/ STS-41-B/ 7 February 1984". He used a nitrogen-propelled hand-controlled Manned Maneuvering Unit that he helped develop for this historic EVA. A fabulous image of this landmark event. Excellent.
