Description

Bruce McCandless II Signed STS-41-B Untethered Spacewalk Color Photo. An 8" x 10 NASA litho print of McCandless floating in space above Earth's bright blue horizon in an extravehicular activity (EVA) outside the cabin of the shuttle Challenger during STS-41-B. He used a nitrogen-propelled hand-controlled Manned Maneuvering Unit that he helped develop and was the first astronaut to perform an untethered EVA. He has signed in blue felt tip over the blue earth: "Bruce W McCandless/ STS-41B". Stunning. Desirable in uninscribed form. Excellent.
