Bruce McCandless II Signed STS-41-B Untethered Spacewalk Color Photo, in Framed Display. A 7.5" x 9.5" (sight size) print of McCandless floating in space above Earth's bright blue horizon in an extravehicular activity (EVA) outside the cabin of the shuttle Challenger during STS-41-B. He used a nitrogen-propelled hand-controlled Manned Maneuvering Unit that he helped develop and was the first astronaut to perform an untethered EVA. Signed in silver felt tip over the darkness of space "Best Wishes-/ Bruce McCandless II/ STS-41-B". Matted and framed to an overall 13" x 15". Stunning image. Minor scratching on frame, very fine.
