Description
Apollo 17 Crew-Signed Helicopter Recovery Cover. A philatelic cover that was carried on the recovery helicopter Hawaii Rescue 1 and canceled on December 19, 1972 at Pago Pago, Samoa. It has been signed in black inks: "Gene Cernan", "Harrison Schmitt", and "Ron Evans". Also features handwritten details of the recover as well as a signature by Capt. William H Walker II.
