Apollo 14 Moonwalkers: Lunar Surface Flag Color Photo Signed by Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell, with Added Mission, Location, and Date. A 10" x 8" silk finish photo on Kodak Professional paper showing Shepard holding the American flag with Mitchell's shadow in the foreground. Both have signed in blue felt tip: "Alan Shepard/ Apollo 14" and "Photo by Edgar Mitchell at Fra Mauro Feb 6, 1971". Heritage sold a similar photo without Mitchell's added comments three years ago for $3500. This photo with Shepard holding the flag is seldom offered. Excellent.Auction Info
