Space Shuttle Challenger (STS-41-B) Flown NASA "Payload Ops Checklist" Book (Partial) Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Specialist Bruce McCandless II. A 6" x 8" cardstock book, three-hole punched and bound with binder rings. The mission insignia is pasted to the front cover and a "41-B" label is placed over the previous "11" (a change made shortly before the mission). There are numerous tabbed sections including: "Activation", "Checkout", "Attached Experiments", "Detached Experiments", Backup Procedures", "Reference Data", "Get Away Special", and "Student Experiments". We note pencil checkmarks, numerical entries, and notes throughout. A fascinating book to examine. Very fine.Auction Info
