Description

Apollo 14 NASA "Final Lunar Surface Procedures" Book. Housed in a binder held together by a two-piece prong fastener, cover page adhered to front of binder. Consisting of 166 numbered pages, 8" x 10.5", three hole-punched and bound with the two original staples, prepared by the Lunar Surface Operations Office at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston. This is an original printing of the final edition, dated December 31, 1970. It is divided into five parts: Introduction, Mission Plan, Nominal Lunar EVA, Contingent Plans, and Appendix. A lot of information here including timelines, maps, and charts, with many foldouts. Overall very good.

From the Introduction: "This Apollo 14 Lunar Surface Procedures is used to document the planning for lunar surface operations on Mission H-3, to describe the crew equipment interfaces, and to document the manner in which lunar surface mission requirements are planned to be implemented."
