Description
Rockwell Space Shuttle Contractor's Model, 1/100 Scale, on Wooden Base, Circa 1979. An overall 23" tall x 9" across the wings x 8.25" deep model on an 8.5" diameter base with an engraved plaque: "Space Shuttle/ Scale 1/100/ Rockwell International/ Space Shuttle Group". This is slightly different than the finalized shuttle and is not-yet named. The bay doors open up to show a reflective interior and the remote arm is present and intact. An impressive display piece and only the second of which Heritage has offered. Light age related wear, very fine.Auction Info
