Description
North American Aviation X-15 Model on Lucite Base. A 14.75" long (nose to tail) x 6.75" (across wings) x 8.25" (overall height) model of the legendary X-15 hypersonic rocket-powered aircraft manufactured by N.A.A. on a 9" x 3.5" base with the N.A.A. logo, company name, and X-15. The number on the wedge-shaped tail is "66670" signifying the X-15-1, which made 82 powered flights. The logo dates this to pre-1967. Lightly scratched, very fine.Auction Info
