Description
Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins Signed Apollo 11 Franklin Mint Lunar Module 1/48 Scale Die Cast Model, with Additional Matching Buzz Aldrin Signed Clipping. A highly detailed LM model that sits approximately 7.5" tall while sitting on 9.5" diameter lunar surface base which has been signed in sliver felt tip: "Neil Armstrong", and "Michael Collins". Included is a 5.5" x 2" book clipping that has been signed in matching silver ink: "Best Wishes/ Buzz Aldrin", should winning bidder like to adhere it to 13" square acrylic base. These models were produced after Armstrong had largely given up public signing, having one bearing his signature is a rarity. An absolutely outstanding display piece for the most collectible mission of them all. Heritage Auctions sold a similar model in November 2021 with only an Armstrong signature for over $18,000. Included is a COA and CD from Astronaut Central for the Collins signature. A rare opportunity. Very fine.Auction Info
