Lockheed L-1011 TriStar Executive Desk Model, Lockheed House Livery. A sophisticated and highly desirable Lockheed L-1011 TriStar executive desk model and desk accessory, dating to the early to mid-1970s and finished in Lockheed's classic house livery. Measuring an overall 10.5" x 9" x 9" the metallic model is rendered with a white upper fuselage, dual-tone blue cheatline, and bold "L-1011" titling on the vertical stabilizer, faithfully representing Lockheed's corporate presentation scheme during the aircraft's introduction to commercial service. What distinguishes this example is its survival as a complete presentation set, retaining its original Lockheed marketing cards and notepad. This piece exemplifies the era's distinctive "Aerospace Chic" aesthetic, where aviation engineering met executive décor, and remains highly collectible among enthusiasts of Jet Age design and airline history.
