Standing on a handsome wooden base with Cyrillic labeling ("ГИРД 09"), this striking replica commemorates one of the earliest liquid-fueled rockets developed by the Group for the Study of Reactive Motion (GIRD)-a foundational organization in the USSR's pre-Space Age propulsion research.
