Description
Continental Airlines Airbus A300 Display Model. Impressive large-scale executive desk model of the Airbus A300 in classic Continental Airlines livery, featuring the cream upper fuselage, red cheatline, and distinctive metallic-gold vertical stabilizer with Continental's globe emblem. Measuring an overall 21" x 18" x 9" models like this were typically produced in limited numbers for airline offices, corporate suites, or promotional display. The Airbus A300 holds a significant place in aviation history as the first twin-engine wide-body airliner and the first Airbus aircraft to enter commercial service. A wonderful representation of Continental's early wide-body fleet and an excellent addition to any collection of airline executive models or Airbus memorabilia. Very fine.
