Chuck Yeager Signed P-51D Mustang Glamorous Glennis III Plane 1/24 Scale Model on Custom Stand. A beautiful model, produced by Toys and Models, of the plane that aviator Chuck Yeager flew in World War II. The base gives detailed information on the plane and the pilot. Overall dimensions are 14" long x 18" across the wings. It is signed in black felt tip on the wing: "Chuck Yeager". Propellor not present, otherwise very fine.

Chuck Yeager, a legendary pilot, flew the P-51D Mustang during World War II, achieving significant success in aerial combat. He named his P-51D "Glamorous Glen III" after his wife, and it was in this aircraft that he scored most of his aerial victories, including downing five German Me 109s in a single day on October 12, 1944. Yeager's exceptional vision and piloting skills helped him become one of the most successful fighter aces of the war, ultimately achieving a total of 12.5 aerial victories.
