Description
Charlie Duke Signed Lunar Rover Model by Proach Models. A superb highly detailed representation of Charlie Duke and John Young with the Lunar Rover at landing site Descartes. Features meticulously designed depictions of the Rover and both astronauts, sitting upon wooden base measuring approximately 7.5" x 7.5". The Lunar Rover and one astronaut are removable, while the standing figure is attached to base. When assembled model measures approximately 4.5" tall. Features adhered engraved plaque featuring mission insignia as well as the text "Charlie Duke & Rover/ At Descartes/ April 1972". Signed in silver felt tip on top of base: "Charlie Duke/ Apollo 16 LMP". Also signed on underside of base in black felt tip by acclaimed model designer Nick Proach.
