Description

Braniff International Airways Boeing 747-127 1:200 Scale Desk Model, Solid Orange Livery. A striking airline executive presentation desk model of the Boeing 747-127, finished in Braniff International Airways' iconic solid orange livery, one of the bold, single-color schemes introduced under the airline's revolutionary "End of the Plain Plane" branding program. This dramatic aesthetic shift, launched under Mary Wells Lawrence with design direction by Alexander Girard, transformed the 747 into a flying design statement and remains one of the most influential airline branding initiatives in aviation history. Produced by Air Jet Advance Models, the acrylic model measures an overall 13.5" x 12" x 6". Light age-related wear, overall very fine.
