Description
Braniff International Airways BAC One-Eleven Promotional Model. A finely executed desk model of the BAC One-Eleven short-haul jet, finished in Braniff International Airways' classic red, white, and blue livery. Measuring an overall 15" x 15" x 9.5", the acrylic model accurately depicts the One-Eleven's rear-mounted engine configuration and T-tail, with crisply applied markings and clean wing and tailplane proportions. Introduced in the early 1960s, the BAC One-Eleven was among the first successful short-range jetliners and played a key role in Braniff's modernization just before the airline's famous design revolution.
