Apollo Astronauts (and More): Large Hasbro Space Capsule Model
(1966) Signed by Twelve Apollo Astronauts, Two Cosmonauts,
SpaceShipOne's Melvill and Binnie, and Cast Members of I
Dream of Jeannie. A 14" tall x 9.5" diameter (at
bottom) plastic G.I. Joe model signed by numerous Space-related
individuals. The signatures were obtained primarily at the ASF
autograph show in November 2012. Signed as follows on and around
the top: "Alexei Leonov/ Voskod 2/ First Spacewalker";
"Alan Bean/ Apollo 12/ 4th Man On/ The Moon"; "Richard
Gordon/ Apollo XII"; "Dave Scott/ 7th on The Moon";
"Edgar Mitchell/ Apollo 14/ 6th on the Moon"; "Scott
Carpenter/ Aurora 7"; "First Woman in Space/ Valentina
Tereshkova/ Vostok-6"; "Rusty Schweickart/ Apollo 9",
and "'Magnificent Desolation'/ To SFC Ozzie/ Rodriguez/ Buzz
Aldrin/ Apollo XI". Signed on the US flag decal: "Fred
Haise/ Apollo 13 LMP" and "Gene Cernan/ Gemini IX/ Apollo X/
XVII". Signed on the bottom area: "Jim McDivitt/ Gemini IX/
Apollo 9"; "Charlie Duke/ Apollo 16 LMP"; "Wally
Schirra/ Apollo 7"; "Mike Melvill/ SpaceShipOne/ First
Private Manned/ Space Flight"; "Brian Binnie/ SpaceShipOne/
'Space for the Rest of Us'"; "Barbara Eden/ 'Jeannie'";
"Maj/ Nelson/ Larry Hagman"; and "Bill Daily/ Maj
Healy". Certainly a unique item with some great added comments
to the signatures. Nineteen autographs total with space for more.
