Apollo 14: Alan Shepard "The Moon Shot" Code 3 (Biltmore) Model
in Original Box. An incredibly detailed model developed by Code
3 in conjunction with the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum
of Alan Shepard hitting his famous golf shot on the lunar surface.
Standing approximately 11.5" tall while sitting upon a 9.5" x 8"
metallic base, this model is extraordinary in its attention to
detail. Shepard's patches, suit connections, checklist, and helmet
are quite impressive. Rarely offered, and this is the first time
Heritage has done so. Light scratches on base and missing small
golf ball adhered to base. Overall fine.
