Description
Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-65) Flown Apollo 11 Anniversary Flag on Presentation Certificate, Display Directly from the Estate of NASA Legend Chris Kraft, with Certificate of Authenticity. A 5.25" x 3" nylon 25th anniversary flag mounted on a colorful 11" x 14" certificate with the text: "Presented to Chris Kraft. This Apollo 11 25th anniversary flag was flown aboard the Orbiter 'Columbia' STS-65, July 8-23, 1994 in commemoration of America's first Lunar Landing Mission." Included in this lot is a typed letter directly to Dr. Kraft from Michael Mott, who was Associate Deputy Administrator at NASA at the time. A great item to add to any Apollo 11 collection.
