Description
Russian Soyuz Flown Forel Hydrosuit Signed by Cosmonaut Aleksandr Poleshchuk. A heavyweight orange one-piece nylon, zipper-front floatation suit with attached rubber-soled feet and a hood. It is lined and contains an inflatable collar with mouthpiece, a lighted beacon on one shoulder, and some sort of signal device laced to the chest. There are several Velcro-close pockets on the legs. Written on an inside seam is "A. Poleshuk/ Soyz TM-16/ MIR 13" as well as his signature. Fine condition, appears complete save for gloves.Cosmonaut Poleshchuk was the flight engineer on the TM-16 mission to the Mir space station which lasted 179 days. He has been awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation.
