Numerous notes and experimental data
Gemini 4 Flown "Data and Notes" Book from the Collection of
Mission Command Pilot Jim McDivitt, Signed and Certified, with His
Signed Letter of Authenticity. This is how McDivitt described
the item on his LOA: "This Gemini IV Data and Notes book, Part No.
CF55019, Dash 12, S/N 41, S/C 4, Book 2, consisting of sixty 4.75"
x 8" tabbed sheets and six 4.75" x 08" untabbed sheets, plus front
and back covers with two Velcro strips each, with handwritten notes
on many pages, was flown in Earth orbit aboard Gemini IV, 3-7 June
1965, and is from my personal collection. I have signed and
endorsed the front cover with 'Flown On Gemini IV' in green.

9." Approximately forty-eight of the pages have writing on them,
the notes regarding photographs taken, system readouts, Apollo
landmarks, and experiment data from D-8 (measuring the radiation in
the spacecraft environment), D-9 (spacecraft navigation using a
sextant to measure their position using the stars), S-5, and S-6
(photography experiments where they used a 70-millimeter Hasselblad
camera to photograph the weather and terrain below them). A
one-of-a-kind treasure trove of information about this landmark
mission. Well-used, very good.
