Description
Apollo 8 Flown Kapton Foil in Lucite. A 0.875" x 0.75" triangular piece of Mylar sealed in a 2.25" diameter x 1" tall Lucite cylinder with "APOLLO 8/ MYLAR/ COMMAND MODULE/ THERMAL COATING" engraved on the bottom. Kapton foil is a thin Mylar material used to line the outer walls of the command module. A great memento from this near-disastrous mission. Very fine condition with general light scratching.
