Apollo 8 Flown Heat Shield Segment in Acrylic Display. A 1.5" x .75" charred plug in a 3" diameter x 2.75" tall acrylic cylinder with "APOLLO 8/ DEC, 21-27, 1968 engraved on bottom. Apollo 8, with crewmembers Frank Borman, James Lovell, and Bill Anders aboard, performed a number of "firsts" in spaceflight and flown material is very desirable. Excellent.Auction Info
