Apollo 14 Flown Sextant Eyepiece on Wooden Display Plaque. A 2" diameter x 2" tall (including the rubber eye relief cup) eyepiece adhered to a 6" x 8" wooden plaque with a metal plate that states: "To Robert J. Phillips/ This sextant eyepiece was used for/ all navigational sightings on the/ Apollo 14 Lunar Mission./ Jan. 31-Feb. 9, 1971". This eyepiece spent over nine days in space and was a crucial part of effectively navigating the Kittyhawk as the crew successfully completed the third lunar landing. Light age related wear to plaque. Very fine.
