Rare Apollo-flown silver Snoopy
Apollo 13 Flown Silver Snoopy Pin Directly from the Collection
of Mission Lunar Module Pilot Fred Haise, with Signed Letter of
Authenticity. A 0.375" x 0.5" Robbins and Sterling hallmarked
pin of the beloved Peanuts character Snoopy with both pin and tie
tack backs. These were historically flown on missions and presented
to various personnel as awards. This particular example was flown
aboard on what was to be the third manned lunar landing and
retained by the mission Lunar Module Pilot after the crew safely
returned to Earth. Snoopy pins flown on Apollo missions do not come
to the market frequently. Obtaining one directly from the
collection of a crew member of the mission on which it traveled is
even more rare. Very fine.
