Description
Apollo 13 Flown Lunar Surface Map, Signed by James Lovell and Fred Haise with Astronaut Central COA and Spaceflori Authentication. A 10.5" x 8" lunar map that was removed from the Apollo 13 LM Lunar Surface Maps book. The book was presented to George Colton by the Apollo 13 crew upon their return. Colton served as the book manager for the graphics used to make these lunar maps. It has been signed in black felt tip: "James Lovell/ Apollo 13 CDR", and "Fred Haise/ Apollo 13 LMP". Included are LOAs from Florian Noller recounting his acquiring the book from Heritage Auctions, as well as a Astronaut Central COA for the Lovell signature. Additionally, there are copies of the Apollo 13 stowage list and a letter from Colton describing the book being presented to him by the crew. Very fine.Auction Info
