Neil Armstrong and Viola Armstrong Typed Letters Signed with Handwritten Poems from Fans, in Framed Display. A 7.5" x 10" (sight size) one page letter on NASA letterhead signed in blue ink: "Neil Armstrong", reading, as follows: "Dear Ethel: Thank you very much for sending me your poem and good wishes. Your thoughtfulness in sharing this with me is deeply appreciated and I hope you will continue your interest in our activities as the Apollo Program progresses. Thank you again. Sincerely, Neil A. Armstrong NASA Astronaut". Beneath is the poem sent to him by Ethel Killmeyer. To the right is another letter, this one signed in black ink: "Viola l. Armstrong" thanking an unnamed fan for their poem, matted below. Archivally matted and framed to an overall 20.5" x 19.5". Very fine.Auction Info
