Description
Buzz Aldrin's Apollo 11/ Boeing Bathrobe Originally from His Personal Collection. A "one size" white terrycloth robe by Cabana Bay with a silk-like rope border all around. On the chest is a sewn-on Apollo 11 embroidered mission insignia with "Aldrin" embroidered beneath. On one cuff is embroidered "Boeing" with their logo. Based on that logo, this dates from no earlier than 1997, possibly it was given to Aldrin upon the 30th anniversary of Apollo 11 in 1999. Very fine.A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this lot.
